The Martell Elementary Mission Statement says that in order to provide the best education for our students, the Martell Community is committed to the following:

- Preparing students to meet the challenges of our ever-changing society
The staff at Martell has always believed in the education of young people. Our goal has been to prepare students for the challenges they will be facing in the years to come. This scholarship will be a one-time grant of $500 to be used for post high school education.
The applicant must:
- Have attended Martell Elementary.
- Be a graduating senior at Troy HS, Athens HS, Troy College & Career High School, or the International Academy East.
- Have maintained a 2.0 grade point average or higher.
- Be planning on attending a post high school educational institution.
- Provide:
- Letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, counselor, or administrator.
- List your Martell teachers for the years you attended.
- Write an essay about your experience at Martell.
- Provide a current photograph.
- Submit this signed and dated application to Martell Elementary School office no later than Friday, April 11, 2025.
